Plaquette négative double face, D - rhomboïde, angle de 55°, taille 11 avec rayon de coin de 1,2 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une zone d'appui (T-land) négative/stable et modérée. Elle convient également aux aciers, et conditionnellement aux matériaux durs. Substrat T9425, revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
