Plaquette négative double-face, D - losange 55° d'angle d'inclusion, taille 15 avec rayon de coin de 0,4 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux KM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un T-land stable et large. Elle convient également sous certaines conditions aux aciers et aux matériaux durs. Et un substrat T5405 en WC-Co, revêtu MT-CVD, convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe continue.
