Plaquette de tournage négative double-face, D - rhombe 55°, taille 15 avec rayon de bec de 0,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et un listel négatif/stable, modéré. Elle convient également aux aciers, et sous certaines conditions aux matériaux durs. Revêtement MT-CVD, substrat à gradient fonctionnel T9425, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe continue.
