Plaquette de tournage négative double face, D - losange angle d'inclusion 55°, taille 15 avec rayon de pointe 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux KM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un T-land stable et large. Elle est également adaptée sous certaines conditions aux aciers et aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T5405 à base de WC-Co revêtu MT-CVD convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
