Plaquette double-face à coupe négative, D - angle de 55° en losange, taille 15 avec un rayon de bec de 0,4 mm. La combinaison brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et un listel modéré, négatif/stable. Elle convient également pour les aciers et, sous certaines conditions, pour les matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
