Plaquette négative double-face, D - rhomboïdale angle de 55° inclus, taille 15 avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison brise-copeaux KR est robuste et le premier choix pour l'ébauche des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un large listel. Elle convient également pour les aciers et, sous certaines conditions, pour les matériaux durs. Et revêtue MT-CVD, substrat à base de WC-Co T5405. convient pour les matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe continue.
