Plaquette négative double face, D - rhomboïde, angle de 55°, taille 15 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux NF est affûtée et constitue le premier choix pour la finition fine des aciers, des aciers inoxydables. Elle présente un angle de coupe très positif et une bande de listel très positive et étroite. Elle convient également sous certaines conditions aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux et superalliages. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une gradation fonctionnelle, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11%), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe continue.
