Plaquette négative double face, D - rhomboïde angle inclus de 55°, taille 15 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux SM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers et des super-alliages. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et une surface d'appui stable et modérée.
