Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, D - rhomboïde angle inclus de 55°, taille 15 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux NR2 est robuste et le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers inoxydables. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une double lèvre en T négative/négative extra-large. Elle convient également aux aciers, et sous certaines conditions aux fontes et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu de MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11% de chrome), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et une dureté < 45HRC) et Coupe légèrement interrompue.
