Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, D - rhomboïdale 55° d'angle d'inclusion, taille 15 avec rayon de coin de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux OR est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une double lèvre en T négative/stable, extra-large. Elle convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (moulages en alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
