Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, E - rhomboïdale angle inclus 75°, taille 8 avec rayon de bec 0,4 mm. Le brise-copeaux FM2 est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers. Il présente un angle de coupe positif et une bande de listel stable et modérée. Il convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables. Revêtement CVD-MT, substrat à gradient fonctionnel T9425, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Aciers et aciers moulés (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fontes (pièces moulées en alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2%) et coupe continue.
