Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, E - rhomboïde 75° d'angle inclus, taille 6 avec rayon de coin 0,4 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux FM2 est robuste et le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une facette de coupe stable et modérée. Elle convient également aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Revêtement MT-CVD, substrat à gradient fonctionnel T9425, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
