Plaquette positive simple face, R - ronde, taille 6 avec rayon de bec [ISO_CornerRadius_MET_NUM] mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et le premier choix pour la finition des aciers. Elle présente un angle de dépouille positif et une arête positive et étroite. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, et sous certaines conditions aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. Le substrat T9425 à revêtement MT-CVD et à gradient fonctionnel, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P, convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
