Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, R - ronde, taille 6 avec un rayon de coin de [ISO_CornerRadius_MET_NUM] mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux UR est polyvalente et le premier choix pour la finition des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif sans méplat. Elle convient également pour les aciers et, sous certaines conditions, pour les aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et à gradient fonctionnel, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et pour les coupes légèrement interrompues.
