Plaquette positive simple face, R - ronde, taille 8 avec un rayon de bec de [ISO_CornerRadius_MET_NUM] mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et le premier choix pour la finition des aciers. Elle présente un angle de dépouille positif et un listel étroit et positif. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables et, sous certaines conditions, aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
