Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, R - ronde, taille 8 avec rayon de pointe de [ISO_CornerRadius_MET_NUM] mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux UR est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition de la fonte. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif sans méplat de renfort. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD, à gradient de composition, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers à teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et d'une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupes légèrement interrompues.
