Plaquette positive simple face, R - ronde, taille 12 avec un rayon de coin de [ISO_CornerRadius_MET_NUM] mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une bande de dégagement positive et étroite. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, et sous certaines conditions aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. Le substrat T9425 revêtu de MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
