Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, R - ronde, taille 12 avec rayon de bec de [ISO_CornerRadius_MET_NUM] mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux UR est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des fontes. Elle présente un angle de dépouille positif sans arête de coupe à plat. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une structure graduée fonctionnelle, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Aciers et aciers moulés (aciers alliés ≤ 10 % et d'une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fontes (alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
