Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, S - carrée, taille 9 avec un rayon de coin de 0,4 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux UR est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif sans T-land. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat fonctionnellement gradé T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
