Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, S - carrée, taille 9 avec un rayon de coin de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux FM2 est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers. Elle présente un angle de dépouille positif et un T-land stable et modéré. Elle convient également aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD à gradient de fonction, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
