Plaquette positive simple face, S - carrée, taille 9 avec un rayon de coin de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux RM est robuste et le premier choix pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une large dépouille stable. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, et conditionnellement aux superalliages et aux matériaux durs. Et un substrat T5405 en WC-Co, revêtu MT-CVD. Convient aux matériaux : K - fonte (pièces moulées en alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
