Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, S - carrée, taille 9 avec un rayon de coin de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux RM est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une large facette en T stable. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables et, sous certaines conditions, aux superalliages et aux matériaux durs. Et le substrat T9425 MT-CVD à gradient fonctionnel, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
