Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, S - carrée, taille 12 avec rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux UR est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif sans méplat de renfort. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD et à gradient fonctionnel est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (moulages en alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe continue.
