Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, S - carrée, taille 9 avec un rayon de coin de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux .CMW est conçue pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe neutre sans T-land. Elle convient également sous certaines conditions aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T5405 en WC-Co, revêtu de MT-CVD, convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
