Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, S - carrée, taille 12 avec rayon de bec 0,8 mm. La combinaison brise-copeaux .CMW à plaquette plate est conçue pour l'usinage moyen de la fonte. Elle présente un angle de coupe neutre sans T-land. Elle convient également sous certaines conditions aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T5405 en WC-Co, avec revêtement MT-CVD, convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
