Plaquette de tournage négative double face, S - carrée, taille 25 avec rayon de coin de 2,4 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux .NMA..S et d'une plaquette plate est conçue pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe neutre et une dépouille négative, avec une plage de serrage modérée. Elle convient également sous certaines conditions aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T5405 est revêtu MT-CVD, à base de WC-Co. Il convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2% de teneur en carbone) et aux coupes légèrement interrompues.
