Plaquette de tournage négative double face, S - carrée, taille 12 avec un rayon de coin de 0,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et une arête de coupe positive et étroite. Elle convient également, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe continue.
