Plaquette de tournage double face négative, S – carrée, taille 12 avec rayon de bec de 1,6 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle offre un angle de coupe positif et une terre de dépouille négative/stable, modérée. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Et la T9425, substrat à gradient de fonction MT-CVD, est conçue principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Elle convient aux matériaux : P – Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K – Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
