Plaquette négative double face, S - carrée, taille 15 avec un rayon de coin de 1,2 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux KR est robuste et le premier choix pour l'ébauche des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un large listel. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs, et elle est revêtue MT-CVD, substrat à base de WC-Co T5405. Elle convient aux matériaux : K - fonte (pièces moulées en fer et alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
