Plaquette de tournage négative double-face, S - carrée, taille 15 avec rayon de pointe de 1,2 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux M est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une terre de coupe négative/stable, modérée. Elle convient également pour les aciers et, sous certaines conditions, pour les matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et Coupe légèrement interrompue.
