Plaquette négative double face, S - carrée, taille 19 avec rayon de coin de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux KR est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un large chanfrein de renfort. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux matériaux durs. Et substrat T5405 en WC-Co, revêtu MT-CVD. Convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
