Plaquette de tournage négative double face, S - carrée, taille 19 avec un rayon de coin de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux RM est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une large dépouille de dégagement stable. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu de MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers alliés ≤ 10 % et d'une dureté < 45HRC), M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome), K - Fonte (alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
