Plaquette de tournage négative double face, S - carrée, taille 19 avec rayon de pointe de 1,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux SM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers et des superalliages. Elle présente un angle de dépouille légèrement positif et une plage d'appui stable et modérée. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux alliages non ferreux et aux matériaux durs. Substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient de fonction, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone).
