Plaquette négative double face, S - carrée, taille 19 avec un rayon de bec de 1,6 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux R est robuste et conçue pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et une double facette large négative/stable. Elle est également conditionnellement adaptée aux matériaux durs. Le substrat T9425 à gradient de fonction, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe interrompue.
