Plaquette de tournage négative double face, S - carrée, taille 19 avec rayon de coin de 1,6 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux SM est polyvalente et le premier choix pour l'usinage moyen des aciers et superalliages. Elle présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un T-land stable et modéré. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux alliages non ferreux et aux matériaux durs. Revêtement MT-CVD, substrat à gradient fonctionnel T9425, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers à teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et dureté < 45HRC), M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone).
