Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, S - carrée, taille 12 avec rayon de bec de 1,6 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une large dépouille en T double, négative/stable. Elle convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables et superalliages. Le substrat T9425 est revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe interrompue.
