Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, S - carrée, taille 15 avec un rayon de coin de 1,2 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une double lèvre de dégagement négative/stable, extra-large. Elle convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une gradation fonctionnelle, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec une teneur en carbone > 2 %) et coupe interrompue.
