Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, S - carrée, taille 15 avec un rayon de bec de 1,6 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une double lèvre en T négative/stable, extra-large. Elle convient également aux fontes, et conditionnellement aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu de MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et Coupe interrompue.
