Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, S - carrée, taille 19 avec rayon de coin 1,6 mm. Le brise-copeaux 923 est robuste et conçu pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers inoxydables. Il présente un angle de coupe positif et une double lèvre de dégagement négative/stable, extra-large. Il convient également sous certaines conditions aux aciers et aux fontes. Le substrat T9425 est revêtu de MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe interrompue.
