Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, T - triangulaire avec un angle inclus de 60°, taille 16 avec un rayon de coin de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux RM est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une large arête de coupe stable en T. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, et conditionnellement aux superalliages et aux matériaux durs. Substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient fonctionnel, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec ≥ 11 % de chrome), K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et continu
