Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, T - triangulaire angle d'arête 60°, taille 16 avec rayon de bec 0,4 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux .CMW plat est conçue pour l'usinage moyen des fontes. Elle présente un angle de dépouille neutre sans listel. Elle est également adaptée sous certaines conditions aux matériaux durs. Et le substrat T5405 à base de WC-Co avec revêtement MT-CVD convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages d'alliages de fer et de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
