Plaquette négative double face, T - triangulaire avec un angle inclus de 60°, taille 22 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. Combinaison de brise-copeaux, le brise-copeaux R est robuste et conçu pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Il présente un angle de coupe légèrement positif et un listel double en T négatif/stable, extra large. Il convient également aux matériaux durs, sous certaines conditions. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (pièces moulées en fer et alliages de carbone avec > 2% de teneur en carbone) et coupes légèrement interrompues.
