Plaquette de tournage négative simple face, T - triangulaire angle inclus 60°, taille 16 avec rayon de pointe 0,8 mm. La combinaison brise-copeaux est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche lourde des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une double lèvre de dégagement négative/stable, extra-large. Elle convient également aux fontes et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables et aux superalliages. Le substrat T9425 à gradient fonctionnel, revêtu MT-CVD, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe légèrement interrompue.
