Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, en V - losange avec un angle inclus de 35°, taille 11 avec un rayon de coin de 0,4 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux UR est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition de la fonte. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif sans méplat. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une gradation fonctionnelle, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux suivants : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers à teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et dureté < 45 HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de carbone) et coupe continue.
