Plaquette positive simple face, V - losange, angle de 35°, taille 11 avec rayon de pointe de 0,8 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux FM est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des aciers. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une terre T étroite et positive. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables et, sous certaines conditions, aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. Le substrat T9425 revêtu MT-CVD, à gradient de fonction, conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P, convient aux matériaux : M - Acier inoxydable (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %), P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10 % et une dureté < 45HRC) et coupe continue.
