Plaquette positive simple face à 35° en forme de V, taille 16 avec rayon de coin de 0,4 mm. La combinaison brise-copeaux RM est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une large plage de dégagement stable. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, et sous certaines conditions aux superalliages et aux matériaux durs. Et le substrat T5405 à base de WC-Co revêtu de MT-CVD convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
