Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, V - rhomboïde angle inclus de 35°, taille 16 avec rayon de pointe de 0,4 mm. La combinaison de brise-copeaux UR est polyvalente et constitue le premier choix pour la finition de la fonte. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif sans méplat de dépouille. Elle convient également aux aciers et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers inoxydables. Le substrat T9425 à revêtement MT-CVD, à gradient de fonction, est conçu principalement pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : P - Acier et acier moulé (aciers avec une teneur en alliage ≤ 10% et une dureté < 45HRC), K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2% de teneur en carbone) et coupe continue.
