Plaquette positive simple face, V - rhomboïde 35° d'angle inclus, taille 16 avec rayon de coin 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux RM est robuste et le premier choix pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une large face de dégagement en T stable. Elle convient également pour les aciers inoxydables et, sous certaines conditions, pour les superalliages et les matériaux durs, et elle est revêtue MT-CVD, substrat T5405 à base de WC-Co. Elle convient aux matériaux : K - Fonte (moulages de fer et d'alliages de carbone avec > 2 % de teneur en carbone) et Coupe continue.
