Plaquette de tournage positive simple face, en V - losange avec un angle inclus de 35°, taille 16 avec un rayon de bec de 0,8 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux RM est robuste et constitue le premier choix pour l'ébauche des aciers et des fontes. Elle présente un angle de coupe positif et une large facette stable. Elle convient également aux aciers inoxydables, et conditionnellement aux superalliages et aux matériaux durs.
