Plaquette positive simple face à coupe à 35°, taille 13 avec rayon de bec de 0,2 mm. La combinaison du brise-copeaux NF2 est tranchante et constitue le premier choix pour la finition des aciers inoxydables. Il présente un angle d'attaque positif sans surface d'appui. Il convient également aux superalliages et, sous certaines conditions, aux aciers, aux fontes et aux alliages non ferreux. Le substrat T9425, doté d'un revêtement MT-CVD et d'une structure fonctionnellement dégradée, est principalement conçu pour les matériaux du groupe P. Il convient aux matériaux : M - Aciers inoxydables (aciers résistants à la corrosion avec une teneur en chrome ≥ 11 %) et coupe continue.
